Where You Can Help
Volunteer Opportunities
From Friday night kitchen shifts to weekend meat draws, there’s a meaningful role for every schedule. All positions are open to non-members — no Eagles card required.
Beer & Burger Night Kitchen
Every Friday from 5–7 pm, we run one of the Aerie’s most popular events. Help with kitchen prep, cooking, and serving alongside a fun, fast-paced crew.
Meat Draws
Meat draws run Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the Eagles Lounge. Sell tickets, call draws, and keep things moving — a beloved, social tradition in Duncan’s community club scene.
Bottle Depot Fundraising
Help collect, sort, and process returns at our bottle depot. Steady, hands-on work that directly funds local families and community causes in the Cowichan Valley.
Outdoor Yard & Maintenance
Keep our facility looking its best year-round. Lawn care, garden upkeep, painting, and general repairs — no special skills required, just a willingness to roll up your sleeves.
Special Events
Our full calendar needs setup crews, 50/50 sellers, bartenders, food prep volunteers, and more. Whether you can spare one evening or help from planning to cleanup, there’s a role for you.
Making a Difference
Your Time Stays Local
Everything you contribute as a volunteer stays in the Cowichan Valley. Our bottle depot, meat draws, and fundraising events have supported local families and community causes for decades.
No experience is necessary for most roles. Eagles volunteers include retirees, working parents, and anyone who wants to show up for their community.
